Refund & Cancellation Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with every grade. Here’s how refunds, returns, and cancellations work across grading, auctions, and card sales.
Cancelling a Grading Order
You can cancel any grading order that is still in Awaiting Arrival status by emailing genericventures@gmail.com — full refund, no fee. Once we’ve received your cards and grading begins, the order can no longer be cancelled, because the work is already underway.
Disagree With a Grade?
If you believe an error was made, contact us within 30 days of receiving your graded cards. A senior grader will re-review the card against the original photos. A $25 grade-review fee applies and is fully refunded if we adjust the grade in your favor. A grade is our expert opinion and is not, by itself, grounds for a refund of the grading fee.
Auction Wins
All bids are binding and auction sales are final. We do not offer refunds for buyer’s remorse or for a card’s later change in market value. The only exceptions are an item that was materially misdescribed or that arrives damaged in return shipping (see below).
Card Sales (Buy It Now)
Direct card purchases are final sale. If the card you receive does not match its listing in a material way, contact us within 3 days of delivery with photos and we will make it right — including a return for refund where appropriate.
Damaged in Return Shipping
If your slabs or cards arrive damaged, email us photos of both the packaging and the damage within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll file a claim with the carrier and, if AAA’s packaging was at fault, re-slab the affected cards at no charge.
Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping on grading orders follows your package tier: customers cover return shipping on the 1-card and 3-card packages (added at checkout), while the 7-card and 12-card packages include free return shipping within the continental United States. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.
